Books Unbanned Kit

In preparation for Banned Books Week October 4-10, we're partnering with Books Unbanned to give away 100 Books Unbanned kits to lucky Little Free Library stewards in the U.S.! Books Unbanned is a national initiative founded by Brooklyn Public Library (BPL) to defend teens’ right to access information, stories, and ideas—without censorship. Teens across the US can sign up for a FREE digital library card to access BPL and partner libraries' complete digital collections, including eBooks, audiobooks, magazines and databases. Each kit will include a Books Unbanned tote bag and pins for Stewards, and bookmarks, stickers, and zines that can be included in your Little Free Libraries. Learn more about Books Unbanned here. The entry period runs through September 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CT. 100 winners will be randomly selected by Little Free Library staff and notified by email. Limit one (1) entry per person. Entering more than once will disqualify you from winning. Open to LFL stewards in the U.S. Must be 18 or older to enter.
